Private Appointments
Book your private Doodlebug Designs appointment in Scripps Ranch! During your visit, you can browse through our display of samples and select the perfect design for your custom pieces. No waiting in line, no hassle.
Once you've chosen your designs, we'll gently take your little one's prints in soft, non-toxic clay.
Price to book: Free
Payment: Payment is collected at time of appointment (no advance payments required). We accept contactless and card payments (Amex® included) as well as transactions from mobile wallets (Apple, Samsung, and Google Pay).
Location: Scripps Ranch. Please note that the exact location is a residential address which will be provided upon booking for privacy purposes. Appointments are all outdoors on the front porch.

How long does an appointment take?
Appointments usually take about 10-15 minutes.
Can I come with a friend?
Absolutely. We just ask that you include the total number of kids participating when you fill out our booking form.
Can I bring my pet?
Yes! Well behaved animals are welcome.
Is this messy?
Not at all. Our clay is soft, non-toxic, and does not stick to hands and feet. We also provide hand wipes.
How long does production take?
Approximately 4 weeks. Please allow an extra week during our Christmas holiday season.
How do I get my order back?
Free pickup is available: at the same location as your appointment (Scripps Ranch), at Junebug (Solana Beach), or at Babies in Bloom (Carlsbad). Shipping via USPS is also available; price depends on weight and location.
Do I need to do anything to prepare for an appointment?
If you plan to have your baby's footprint stamped, you may consider dressing them in clothing where their feet are easily accessible. Otherwise, nope!
Do I need to know exactly what I want before my appointment?
Some customers come prepared with a screenshot or a memo of what they'd like, but it's certainly not expected. We're happy to help with the decision-making process. Please feel free to look through designs on our website for inspiration.
